We are a non profit organisation. Our aim is to promote both awareness and social cohesion of the Somalis living in the London Borough of Redbridge. The Consortium provide support, through individual and group mentoring sessions and activities, to Somalian children and young people.
The Service is delivered through a term-time weekend club and a school holiday club. Activities will be available for up to 40 children and young people for three hours per day.The Consortium also have a case worker / co-ordinator who provides one to one advice to the parents of young people who attend the centre.
Weekly football sessions are held for young Somali boys to develop their skills. Other activities include swimming for girls.
Regular trips are organised allowing youths to explore whilst meeting new friends.
Tuition has been made available in key subjects including Maths and English to enable youth to excel at school.
